New National Bank With Higher Interest Rates

There’s a new national bank that now offers online high yield savings account options. In May 2009, GMAC(General Motors Acceptance Corporation) Bank emerged itself as Ally Bank. And, when Ally Bank re-launched, the bank unveiled several new online savings account options that provide great high rates, including a 2.05% online savings account that requires no minimum opening deposit or minimum balance and a 2.30% no penalty nine month CD (as on 6/12/09). As with saving account, no penalty CD can also be opened with $0. Both saving accounts and CDs are FDIC insured. See more details here.
